Love It or Leave It: Buckle Booties

Buckle up for Fall, because this trend is HOT on the Street!  Booties/ankle boots are great to transition out of your Summer sandals and jump into Fall.  I'm a huge fan of the ankle boot, especially the Dicker boot-(pricey, but worth every single cent,bought my mom a pair), not a huge fan of buckles.  I am a fan of the Tacy button-bootie...just lovely!  But, I think I'm leaving this trend alone.  Actually, let me take that back!  I do really love the Lombard woven bootie (below) by Jeffrey Campbell.  Got my eye on those!  Ok, I'm done...

Trip to Heath Ceramics L.A last week...

So much eye candy in this store it was ridiculous!  Vibrant mexican pillows and throws and exciting ceramics plates and bowls.  They even had the yummy granola from granola project.   The staff was great!  They let me take photos and hang around admiring all the lovely stuff.  I left with some granola and a coffee mug for my office.  Really wanted those pillows, but they were a bit out of my price range.  Sale soon? Hopefully!

Wooohooo...Isabel Marant will finally grace the West with her presence bringing us our own store.  The store will open in WEHO on  Melrose Ave. along with Vanessa Bruno and A.P.C.  and is scheduled to open this Spring/Summer.  Not sure how much I will frequent the store due to my shallow pockets, but just knowing it's there for when I want to treat myself. :)  Get more deets HERE...

Yayyy...I finally took the plunge and registered for an eight-week French class thanks to a Daily Candy Deal.  I go every Tuesday and Thursday.  This is my second week and I LOVE IT!!!!  Loving my classmates and the teacher even said that my accent is good.  Lots of homework and studying, but enjoying every minute.  So far I know how to introduce myself/greet someone, ask someone their name, what nationality they are, and recite the alphabet and numbers.  I also know to well how to say  "Je ne comprands pas?" (I don't understand?)  Voilà tout!!!

Fall Love: Ssssuede...

Last day of August is upon us...Whoa! Can I say time is going over the speed limit in a major way. My birthday is this Friday, and I just gotta have some suede ankle boots.  Major necessity! I've been stalking a few pairs, but very hard to decide what pair will cover all my wardrobe needs. I think two pairs are needed for my satisfaction. Yeah? Black and a brown pair? What about grey or navy??? Hmmm...
