Buckle up for Fall, because this trend is HOT on the Street!  Booties/ankle boots are great to transition out of your Summer sandals and jump into Fall.  I'm a huge fan of the ankle boot, especially the Dicker boot-(pricey, but worth every single cent,bought my mom a pair), not a huge fan of buckles.  I am a fan of the Tacy button-bootie...just lovely!  But, I think I'm leaving this trend alone.  Actually, let me take that back!  I do really love the Lombard woven bootie (below) by Jeffrey Campbell.  Got my eye on those!  Ok, I'm done...

Love It or Leave It: The Envelope Skirt

The envelope skirt, otherwise known as the "new" wrap skirt is popping up for Spring as it did in the last part of 2012.  I love this skirt!  Not for me, but if you have great legs this skirt is for you.  Very sexy chic.  Pair with some oxfords for day like these or these or a pair heels for night.

This Fall: Sweaters!

This Fall, sweaters are stepping up in a big expensive way.   As I was flipping through my magazines and browsing the world wide web, I kept seeing Intarsia sweaters.  Yes, Intarsia!  The term was not familiar to me, so I looked it up.  Well, Intarsia is a form of knitting resembling a mosaic pattern that is visible on both sides of the fabric.  Just think of those terrible Christmas sweaters.  Ha!   I definitely didn't know that type of knit was called Intarsia.  Well, it's surely a classic knit and it's huge for the upcoming season.  They are a bit heavy on the pockets, but I found a few that were a bit lighter.   Intarsia, embellished, or printed;  the sweater is looking real exciting for Fall!   Nothing like a cozy sweater!

Ok!  Yes, another WSS featuring Miranda Kerr.  What can I say, her style catches my eye!  Tuxedo pants have been around since Spring and should run straight through Fall.  I'm really starting to dig them.  They add that special touch when you turn to the side or just knowing that stripe is going down the side is too fun! lol! Gotta find me a pair!  Of course, I spotted Miranda Kerr wearing them and she looked really darling chic.  Her look can go from day to night in seconds.  Love it!  Also,  recently saw Rihanna rockin' some here.

Here I go again with another "WSS" on Beyonce.  What can I say, I'm just really feeling her style lately.  Got your red pants? Now get some pink!  I'm not really a pink girl, but something about a pair of pink pants really catches my eye.  Beyonce paired hers with a print, but a solid blouse in any color would work great...colorblocking!  I love her in this relaxed, no fuss look!
