Vintage Finds. . .

I was looking  for some vintage stuff to wear during pregnancy from one of my favorite vintage shops.  The maternity clothes out there are hideous and so plain. Tired of stripes!!! Stripes for a pregnant belly? Really?  I know it's for a short period of time, but I can't take it.  So, while looking for me a few pieces I came across these cuties.  You might be interested. . .if not, then look at the rest of her selection.  Such unique finds!!!!

happy shopping!

Love It or Leave It: Cropped Jackets

cropped jacket: zara

Loving the cropped jacket...a classic from the 80's!  It's great for Spring when it's a bit cooler in the evenings.  Lovely layering piece and easy to just throw on and go.  Pair a leather cropped moto jacket with a floral midi or maxi dress to give it some edge or pair a denim cropped jacket (here and here) with ankle sweatpants and oversized tee.   Any way you throw it on, you will be on trend and classic chic.

Your turn to shop, here's what I found...

This Fall: Sweaters!

Stefanel Fall 2012 Campaign

This Fall, sweaters are stepping up in a big expensive way.   As I was flipping through my magazines and browsing the world wide web, I kept seeing Intarsia sweaters.  Yes, Intarsia!  The term was not familiar to me, so I looked it up.  Well, Intarsia is a form of knitting resembling a mosaic pattern that is visible on both sides of the fabric.  Just think of those terrible Christmas sweaters.  Ha!   I definitely didn't know that type of knit was called Intarsia.  Well, it's surely a classic knit and it's huge for the upcoming season.  They are a bit heavy on the pockets, but I found a few that were a bit lighter.   Intarsia, embellished, or printed;  the sweater is looking real exciting for Fall!   Nothing like a cozy sweater!

Here are some of my fav cozies...
