So, this bomber jacket trend that's moving right into Fall is growing on me a bit. I've never been a bomber jacket girl, but that might change for the upcoming season. . . lots of cuties out there! The Bomber jacket is easy to throw on, keep warm, and go. Especially living in L.A., the bomber works year-round, you really don't need a heavy coat here. Perfect Fall transition piece. Love It or Leave It: Buckle Booties

Buckle up for Fall, because this trend is HOT on the Street! Booties/ankle boots are great to transition out of your Summer sandals and jump into Fall. I'm a huge fan of the ankle boot, especially the Dicker boot-(pricey, but worth every single cent,bought my mom a pair), not a huge fan of buckles. I am a fan of the Tacy button-bootie...just lovely! But, I think I'm leaving this trend alone. Actually, let me take that back! I do really love the Lombard woven bootie (below) by Jeffrey Campbell. Got my eye on those! Ok, I'm done...

Love It or Leave It: The Crop Top

The Crop Top has made a comeback!! Back in the 80's, if you didn't rock a crop top you were not stylin'. Ha! Then in the 90's it reappeared in the form of a bustier or bra top worn under a blazer or a starter jacket... bad fashion! Today, it's taken a chic turn to styles with long-sleeves, tanks, cardigans, sweatshirts, and blouses. Paired with culottes, midi or maxi skirts, harem pants, or shorts. Throw on a jean or leather jacket, even a blazer to complete the look. I will not be wearing this trend, but I'm still Loving It! To those who can rock it. . .

Love It or Leave it: Birkenstocks

I still got love for Birkenstocks! I've had these brown suede pair since 2000 or a little before and they still look and feel great! I usually wear them to the Farmers Market, on Saturday errand runs, or quick jaunts to the store. I haven't worn them to be fashionable, but just to be comfy and their easy to slide your feet in and go. Well, they're back and on trend for the Summer and beyond. These ladies are dressing them up quite fabulously. I just had a convo with Toni of my mommies closet and the awesome blah blah birds, about her buying a pair of black patent leather ones...I told her I would buy a more classic pair as the patent leather to me, would go out of style pretty quick, but I think she's going for them. Ha! Lots of cute new styles and colors to choose from, so bring them back!! Get you a pair!

Love It or Leave It: High-Waist Shorts

It's Summer...4th of July is tomorrow and vacations are booked! All you need is a pair of high-waist shorts. The high-waist thing is on trend for the season in swimsuits, pencil skirts, and cropped pants, and of course vintage. When I saw this photo of Dyan of Passion Foodie and our beloved Blah Blah Birds rocking some high-waist shorts during a trip to Jamaica, I definitely had to show how cute her look was and help you find some cuties to wear this Summer too. So, here's what I found...

Love It or Leave it: Front-Tie Blouse

Remember the front-tie blouse? I use to rock that in collage. Don't think I've bought one since then and that's been a while. Well, this style is back and in full-effect, and it just screams Summer to me. Pairs great with almost every type of bottom and even great as a swimsuit cover up. I love how Alicia of Cheetah is the New Black (found this awesome blog yesterday via OTTE newsletter...love it) styled it. Relaxed look that can be for day or night. Great style, Alicia!

So, am I loving it? Hmmm..not totally loving it, but like it a whole lot.
