Love It or Leave It: The Crop Top

The Crop Top has made a comeback!! Back in the 80's, if you didn't rock a crop top you were not stylin'. Ha! Then in the 90's it reappeared in the form of a bustier or bra top worn under a blazer or a starter jacket... bad fashion! Today, it's taken a chic turn to styles with long-sleeves, tanks, cardigans, sweatshirts, and blouses. Paired with culottes, midi or maxi skirts, harem pants, or shorts. Throw on a jean or leather jacket, even a blazer to complete the look. I will not be wearing this trend, but I'm still Loving It! To those who can rock it. . .

Curves & Prints

Curves and Prints are a lovely thing! Wearing prints camouflages problem areas and are really fun to wear. In the photo, I'm wearing a printed jumpsuit by Anthropologie (no longer available), which I love and it's great for my curves. It pulls up, no annoying zippers or buttons. A lot of the time it's hard to find quality and cute pieces to fit just right, but I think I found some cuties that my curvy reader will love. Here are some of my go-to online shops. . .

Love It or Leave It: Tie-Neck Blouse

The Tie-Neck Blouse (known as the secretary blouse in the 70's), to me will always be a classic. Usually considered conservative, just for the office look. Hitting the Spring 2013 runways, this season they're being paired with leather skinnies, printed pencil skirts, and culottes. Throw on a cropped jacket and go! Very classic, very chic!
