Well, Summer is coming to an end and all stores are getting rid of Summer pieces to make room for Fall.  I love this time of the year, because of  Summer sales, Fashion Week, the anticipation of wearing cozy sweaters and boots, the chill in the air sneaks up in the evenings, and of course my birthday closes out the Summer as it falls on Labor Day this year.  Don't get me wrong I love Summer, but to me the "Real" fashion starts during the Fall/Winter season.  This Duro Olowu collection just screams Fall/Winter and what I get excited about!

Curves and Prints are a lovely thing! Wearing prints camouflages problem areas and are really fun to wear.  In the photo, I'm wearing a printed jumpsuit by Anthropologie (no longer available), which I love and it's great for my curves.  It pulls up, no annoying zippers or buttons.   A lot of the time it's hard to find quality and cute pieces to fit just right, but I think I found some cuties that my curvy reader will love.  Here are some of my go-to online shops. . .

Love It or Leave It...

NYFW Fall 2013 has come to an end, but the memories live on.   J. Crew really spiced it up for their Fall 2013 collection.  A-ma-zing!  Love the Moroccan prints and textures, paired with J.Crew's classic silhouettes.  So fresh for the brand!

paper on the wall...

I'm back on my decorating horse.  I have this large wall in the bathroom (see below) that has nothing on it.  I have gone back and forth with whether I should put a mirror or some sort of art there.  Then, I've been playing around with printed wallpaper just on that one wall.  There are so many super cute prints and textured paper out there.  A couple weeks ago I got this email titled "Wild about Wallpaper" from Apartment Therapy.  If you haven't gone on this site, you need to!   You want to renovate, redecorate, or just add a little spice to your home, they have great ideas!   Well, I took this email as a sign that I needed to really explore this further and get me some samples.

I feel like this would add some color as well as a feel of nature.  Might be really soothing.

Think I'm leaning towards these samples.  I do want a textured paper that feels and looks like there is fabric on the wall.  I really like the green and gold.  Adds that color and richness without overpowering the rest of the bathroom, and it's husband approved!

Nicole Richie always looks great when she hits the red carpet or on any given day.   With her hair up and fresh make-up, she looked effortless chic. I thought she was wearing a dress, but she's wearing a sleeveless top and a high-low hem skirt (not too fond of the paisley print ) by her own collection, Winter Kate.  Loving the leather sleeve jacket and tribal print top. I adore prints, but a tribal or ethnic print...gotta have it!  I bought the aztec midi dress below from Asos Curve...can't wait to try it on.

Streetstyle: Printed Pant

I've got more streetstyle for you today!  The printed pant was all over the streets of New York and Paris during Fashion Week.  The ladies really came out with great style.  They had fun with color and prints while showing off their personal style.  Major inspiration for me as I'm a lover of prints and vibrant color! 

Here are my favs...

Tamu of all the pretty birds rock some cut printed palazzo pants and vibrant cardi.
So fresh and fun...she is such a cutie!!!!

My fav of them all!  Love the mixing of prints and textures.  The tote is a HOT one for sure!
