The Bowl...

I came across this hilarious video on Tracee Ellis Ross' new site.  As I was watching, I realized how I too have a healthy obsession with The Bowl!  I was just talking to my mom over the weekend about how I prefer eating out of a bowl than on a plate.  It's just more exciting to me, plus you eat less (well, that won't apply if you eat out of a huge bowl).  You see a plate is just so flat.  You can't grip or snuggle with a plate, it has to be a bowl.  I could really replace all my plates with bowls, but I kinda need them when I have folks over...right? Also, the husband loves a bowl too.  So, no argument there!  Just thought I'd share my amusement with you.

Trip to Heath Ceramics L.A last week...

So much eye candy in this store it was ridiculous!  Vibrant mexican pillows and throws and exciting ceramics plates and bowls.  They even had the yummy granola from granola project.   The staff was great!  They let me take photos and hang around admiring all the lovely stuff.  I left with some granola and a coffee mug for my office.  Really wanted those pillows, but they were a bit out of my price range.  Sale soon? Hopefully!   

Sweet San Francisco...

After all that has been going on, the hubby and I spent the last four days of 2011 enjoying San Francisco along with some very special friends.  We literally ate ourselves through the city, explored the different neighborhoods, took in a Maceo Parker show, took a ferry to Sausalito, visited quaint shops, and took a short trip to Mill Valley on our last day. It was just what we needed!
