Ankled, Buckled, and Cubed...

A bit of a break from Wednesday Style Steal this week.  It's already been a rough week, but I am pressing on.  Some serious packing going on over here as well as me being a bit under the weather.  Not feeling really energetic this week.  Just ready to be in the new house and skip all the chaos of packing and purging. No fun!

Anyway, lets talk about this ankle, buckle, and cubed heel sandal for Spring.   A bit matronly to me, but it's sort of growing on me.  Great paired with a skinny or palazzo pant with a cute blazer as well as a tunic or shift dress.  My favorites are the black Sam Edelman, cream See by Chloe, and orange/camel Vince Camuto.

The ladies came out in their brightest to celebrate Gwyneth Paltrow's Women In Film Pre-Oscar event. It's almost like they called each other and said "Girl, wear something Springy and bright".  They all showed up in the most vibrant colors, and looked beautiful doing so.  I thought this was great for Wednesday Style Steal.  We all can definitely get this look and look just as fab!  I'm thinking...pairing it with a great pair of metallic sandals (see below).  I don't know what it is, but bright colors just make me want to put on metallic accessories (Vanessa Hudgen had the right idea).  What do you think?

Drew's look is both vibrant and easy breezy. A modern take on the 60's mod dress. I love the purple spiked pumps with such a simple floral dress. It adds some edge and sexiness. I think the dress would look great with a chunky embellished necklace and some metallic pumps for a Spring evening look or pair it with cute Summer flats for Sunday brunch. It's such a fun dress!
