Hidden Places: Topping Rose House

The Hamptons! When you hear those words you automatically think luxury, exclusive, and summertime chic. While reading my Travel & Leisure I came across the beautiful Topping Rose House in Bridgehamton, NY.   Not only does the property scream coziness, the chef of their restaurant is Tom Colicchio of Top Chef and founder of Craft Restaurants.  Really? Ha! I'm a fan of Top Chef.  Anyway, I've always wanted to visit The Hamptons, but never got around to it.  Since I found this place, I am definitely adding the Topping Rose House to my list.  Maybe a quick jaunt there for my birthday would be nice, but might have to just wait until next year.  Enjoy the photos!

Look forward to experiencing this Hidden Place. . .

Summertime In New York...

This time last week I was on my way to New York via the Bolt Bus from D.C.! *daydreamin'*  I took a little vacay to the East to visit my dear friends.  As always we had good times and lots of girl talk.  I don't think I've ever been in New York during this time of year. Everyone was out enjoying the weather, hanging out in the rooftop parks, and alfresco dining was the thing to do. Lots of quality eating and a bit of shopping...I fell in love with N.Y. in the Summertime! Gotta head back there real soon for a vintage shopping trip. Anyone want to roll? I think N.Y. has the best shopping next to Paris. :)

Online Shop Pop: Jumelle NY

I came across this online shop while reading my daily blogs.  I really cannot remember which blog I found this on, but I am glad I found it.

Jumelle NY is owned by Candice Waldron. Originally a journalist/television producer, she decided to follow her "desires to be self-employed and indulge in fashion pursuits" by opening a boutique.  Candice has a twin sister hence why she named her store Jumelle meaning "twin" in French.  I love it!

Jumelle features both emerging and established American and International designers.  Many designers that I have mentioned in previous posts...Clare Vivier, No. 6, Rachel Comey, Creatures of Comfort, A. Wang, Karen Walker, Gary Graham, Isabel Marant, and the list goes on and on. A lovely mix of happiness! Cannot wait to check out the brick and mortar when I visit New York.

Here are some of my favorites...
