California Love...

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but for the longest time I have taken advantage of the fact that Cali has so much to offer, so much to see, and a quick trip up or down the road opens your heart and mind to so much.  The hubby and I love to take quick getaways to Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.  I subscribed to C Magazine, which boast about all things California, and list so many hidden gems and great places to see.  If your a California lover, then I suggest you pick up a copy.

not sure why I'm just reading about buttons and bows l.a. consignment boutique...omg!  owned by karen marley, daugther of bob marley opened this boutique up in downtown l.a.'s fashion district.  can't wait to visit!

the oc mart mix is like the ferry building in san francisco or the oxbow market in napa.  I don't get to orange county very often, but I will have to take a special trip there real soon.

Off to Palm Springs tomorrow! Relaxation, reading, and soaking up the sun are right around the corner.  Much needed and so ready! My fav hotel, The Parker was booked so I'm trying a new spot.  Keep you posted!

P.S., I Love You: Recap

It's June, and I'm ready for Summer!  

Did you miss me? I was missing in action yesterday, but I was still on vacay in my mind.  Ohhh...how I miss Palm Springs! We had a blast and just relaxed and enjoyed each other.  Good times! We stayed at the lovely Viceroy resort.  I usually stay at The Parker, but wanted to try an old favorite. It was a bit shaky at first, but The Viceroy redeemed itself pretty quickly.  I can say we totally enjoyed our stay.  The best part about the hotel is  that downtown Palm Springs is just a walk away. Great restos and shops! 

Although we just wanted to lay by the pool all day, we took in a major tourist attraction...The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.  I think this was the best part of our vacay.  If you're ever in PS, please check it out.  We went on a mile and a half hike and enjoyed the crisp air. 

We checked out Cheeky's and Norma's @ The Parker for breakfast. My favs!  For dinner we did the usual Las Casuelas Terraza and checked out a new favorite, Copley's for a cooking class/dinner. We pretty much ate our way through Palm Springs.
