8 Months...

June is 8 months, and I want her to slow it down.  She's more amazing today than she was yesterday.  She just keeps getting better.  I'm really enjoying this age, watching her grow and explore even more.   Each day she does something new.

What's June up to?  She crawls, she stands and tries to stand without holding on, she walks with me holding her hands, she plays peek-a-boo with my scarves, she loves to be chased, when I leave the room she follows me, she waves goodbye, she gives me kisses, and she loves being in the mix.  A little social butterfly!  Her foods of choice are lentils and carrots or butternut squash with brown rice, broccoli, avocado, and pasta, and besides mama's milk, she loves water.  New foods to try this week: watermelon, blueberries, and asparagus.

Check her out...

4 Months...

Our June is 4 months today!!!! The months seem to be just flying by and she's growing up super fast.  In two weeks I go back to work and she goes to daycare.  Dropping her off is going to be tough! Wish I could have the rest of the year at home with her to do what we do...mommy and me yoga, music story-time at Books and Cookies, more days at LACMA, reading lots of books, and just hanging at home with my girl.  It's been an amazing and tough 4 months as a new mom, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

What she's been up too...

 mommy and me yoga...

celebrating Poppa Z's birthday...

surprising us each day...

first plane ride...

Is it June still?  For me it is!  My sweet June has been lighting up our lives with pure JOY.   She has her feisty moments, but definitely the good days out weigh the frustrating ones.  Ohhhh....the ups and downs of parenthood!  It's a tough job, but this is what keeps us going...

My June. . .

She's here!!  June Mare Archie has finally arrived!  God couldn't have sent me anything more perfect.  After 20 hours of labor, she was born by C-Section.  Not what I imagined for my birth story, and I fought for as long as I could, but in the end June's life was most important.  She's here and my life as I knew it has changed forever.

Happy July!!!!
