On My List. . .

What's on your restaurant list?  I have many on mine!  Really, I have many lists of all sorts of things...all to remember where to shop, eat, and play.   So, I thought I would share one from my resto list today.  If you're in the area you might want to check out...

Free Range L.A.

Every Sunday Free Range is usually at the Melrose Farmers Market doing Sunday brunch and serving up their classic, I'm sure yummy fried chicken sandwich with jalapeno slaw (love anything with slaw on it) or their Southern Fried Chicken biscuit sandwich.  They do move around sometimes, so follow them on Instagram to see where they have landed before you head on over to the farmers market (trust me).  They offer other yummy choices to satisfy everyones palate, check out the menu here and enjoy!

California Love...

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but for the longest time I have taken advantage of the fact that Cali has so much to offer, so much to see, and a quick trip up or down the road opens your heart and mind to so much.  The hubby and I love to take quick getaways to Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.  I subscribed to C Magazine, which boast about all things California, and list so many hidden gems and great places to see.  If your a California lover, then I suggest you pick up a copy.

What I love in the most recent issues...Summer Splendor!

My Weekend...

Movies with the husband to see Think like A Man...hilarious!  A must see!  A few of the actors (Megan Good, Regina Hall, and Michael Ealy) made an appearance at our showing to our surprise to say a little about the film and thank us for supporting.  Major excitement!   We had are usual popcorn which was extra tasty and Marlin gets Raisinets that he throws in the popcorn for a little surprise.  So yummy!

Sunday has been my farmers market day.  We went to the Larchmont Village farmers market to get some stuff for this weeks dinner and juicing.  Heading back to the car,  we made a little stop at Crumbs Bake Shop for a little morning treat.  The cupcakes there are by far the best I've ever had.   Frosted was my fav until I went here.  I think I've changed my mind! :)  The only thing I might not like is that they are really huge cupcakes (like mine a bit smaller), very filling as we did not eat anything else until dinner.  I made up for our sweet tooth with a healthy Lentil, tomato, and sausage soup for Sunday dinner.

Coffee Toffee and Baba Booey

Great weekend! Looking forward to the next one...the hubby's birthday is this Sunday!!! Celebration time!

Have a productive week!
