The holidays are here and Macy's is doing something different than the usual holiday boxed gifts. Macy's is launching gift shops within their stores and online to help with your holiday shopping. You will find colorful and quirky items that you will not find in the actual stores. There are gifts from "functional to the frivolous." Alot of the items were developed by Macy's as well as made especially for Macy's by the designer. This is great for men and last-minute shopping. :)
If the gift shops don't suit your fancy, then check out Macy's celebrity gifting nooks with items created by the retailer by brands such as Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Donald Trump, Jessica Simpson, Kenneth Cole, Martha Stewart, Michael Kors, Rachel Roy, and Ralph Lauren.
If you are not able to find what you are looking for in the gift shops or at the gift nooks and want something more unique, Macy's is also doing international gift shops in only 25 stores offering handwoven baskets from Rwanda, Maasai jewelry from East Africa, painted wooden trays from Indonesia and traditional Haitian artisan home decor items. Not sure what 25 stores, but keep your eye out. Should be available at least in major cities.
